Anything art related: photography, digital art, drawings, paintings, sculptures...this year I've begun a 365 series with journal/narrative blogs to walk you through the journey. I hope you enjoy the writings as well as the images!

Thought I might as well include one of my other animations to give you all a taste of something different:)
Yes...you should think about how to display it for the student exhibition (if you want to include it in the student exhibition, that is)....on a monitor? projection? what size? the display should relate conceptually to the piece itself...
I think it would be cool to see it in action on a big screen. I don't care for the projection because I'd lose the depth of the black...a standard monitor makes the image too 'small'? I can see it on a flatscreen looping over and over...though I think I'd still like to have a print with it...a still so that each frame can be seen...
maybe on one of my 32" monitors then...the aspect ratio will be larger, so you will have to "rework" the animation to fit into a longer rectangle...16:9....vertical or horizontal...we will talk... :)
still enjoy this one...
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate...it sorta becomes hypnotic after awhile doesn't it?
